French Trip

Year 8 children are able to join the French trip, which gives pupils the opportunity to sample French culture for a few days. They hear French spoken by native speakers and have the chance to try out their own French skills at local markets. Pupils also visit a bakery where they can make their own croissant and a chocolate factory where they sample "real chocolate!".

We spend half a day in Nausicaa, an amazing sea-life centre in the town of Boulogne. No french trip would be complete without a bit of shopping so we spend some time (and Euros) in a "hypermarche" in Calais.

Overall, this is a very enriching experience which hopefully will encourage pupils to return to France and above all, work hard at the subject!

e-Safety

It is very important to stay safe online. Remember, people are not always who they say they are. We have lots of information about e-safety on our website. Parents can find it by clicking here.

If you are a pupil looking for e-safety information, we have created an e-safety section on SMILE which has lots of useful information and even some fun e-safety games. Log-in to find more information.
